She invited us to visit and we fell in love with it instantly. It was a clear, cool, fall day. As we drove up the driveway, we saw the pond bordered by a sugar maple tree in full autumn color. It was stunning! We looked at each other and knew this was the place we wanted. We bought the land and over the years have camped there with family and friends. The star gazing at night is incredible and the constant view of the Big Dipper lead us to name the property for it. The Big Dipper Ranch, or BDR. Jud and I have always loved hosting people there so we finally decided to do it in a different way. We hope you will enjoy the beauty and quiet we have experienced when you visit. The area has grown a little bit and offers many things to do from wineries and breweries to amazing hiking locations.
